PSP - Samurai Warriors: State of War
Return to feudal Japan with KOEIs SAMURAI WARRIORS: STATE OF WAR for the PSP. Building on the previous SAMURAI WARRIORS games, the first portable entry in the series contains some familiar faces and all of the great third-person fighting action. The game has nineteen different characters for players to chose from as they battle their way through feudal Japan. Each has his or her own unique weapons, attacks, and abilities. Only six are available at first, however, so players will have to unlock the others. Each character also has an unique storyline, so players will want to finish the game with them all to see everything. Once players are in the game, they will be given the option to set up weapons and sub-officers (many of which also must be unlocked) before heading into battle. The sub-officers act as bodyguards, taking some of the heat off the player. Once setup is finished, the real mission begins. Many of these require players to take out enemy soldiers, take control of a specific area, or accomplish certain goals. The requirements are varied, keeping the game from getting too repetitive. Likewise, the locations and enemies change fairly often. Besides the main story mode, the game also includes multiplayer play for up to four players and a variety of different options for players to compete in. Fans of the SAMURAI WARRIORS series will find all of the same action in the PSP version. SAMURAI WARRIORS: STATE OF WAR is full of intense samurai action. Copyright (C) Muze Inc. 2005.
